Technologies

Description

The Technologies Faculty brings together three diverse subjects: Computing, Business Education, and Craft, Design & Technology (CDT).

Computing: Equips students with essential skills in digital literacy, programming, and web development. Students learn to design, build, and test software solutions while developing critical thinking and computational problem-solving abilities. Computing also prepares learners for creative roles, including app and game development, and offers insight into emerging technologies shaping the future.

Business Education: Provides a comprehensive understanding of the business world, focusing on key areas such as marketing, operations, human resources, and finance. There is also option for students to develop their practical skills in administration and IT, including document production, managing information, and communication. This subject area supports critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for success in the modern business world.

Craft, Design & Technology (CDT): Inspires creativity and innovation through hands-on learning and problem-solving. Students explore engineering principles, develop design and production skills, and engage in practical work such as woodworking, metalwork, and graphic design. This subject promotes critical thinking, teamwork, and technical expertise, preparing students for diverse fields like architecture, product design, and engineering.
