Blue Monday was this week. It is the name given, typically, to the third Monday of January and is commonly understood as the part of the year where depression and anxiety are at their highest as the high of Christmas and New Year is over and the depths of winter stretching out before you. It is important that if you or those you care about are struggling that you know where to access support. Attached is information about a peer support group developed for parents of young people (aged 11-25) struggling with their mental health.
Taking care of your Wellbeing during Assessments:
We hope you are all keeping well and are managing through this difficult time. We have certainly enjoyed hearing from many of you and look forward to being back in school with you all again soon.
Whilst we all understand the importance of working within the lockdown measures, we also know that these restrictions can have an impact on our wellbeing. To help us better understand how everyone is managing we are asking that you take a few moments to complete the wellbeing survey linked below. It will be treated as confidential and we won’t be asking any difficult or awkward questions, but it will hopefully help us identify anyone that might need a little extra support right now.

Some useful self care ideas are noted below to help you manage your wellbeing at this time.
