Welcome to Portobello High School and to this P7 Transition page within our website. On this page you find a growing collection of videos which aim to respond the many questions we received through our P7 transition survey, we had a fantastic response and we want to thank everyone for taking the time to complete the survey.
As well as the videos and virtual tour found below, we also plan to use this section of the website to keep you updated on information as we progress towards your high school start in August. We are very much looking forward to getting to know you. In the meantime stay safe and take care.

This week Mrs Thomson (Pupil Support Leader) will answer your questions on some of the main differences between Primary School and High School. As a former PE teacher, she will also be answering your questions on what PE is like at Porty.
Ms Breingan (Pupil Support Leader) answers your questions on classes, house structure and friendship groups at PHS.
Mr Aitken (Pupil Support Leader) answers your questions on the school day structure and Key Adult
Ms Jacobs (Pupil Support Leader) answers your questions on getting around the school and what to do if you get lost.
This week Mrs Fotheringham (Depute Head Teacher) will answer your questions on wearing masks in high school, COVID tests, the first few days of high school and school trips.
