S3 History pupils enjoyed a day out to New Lanark on Tuesday, 15th March to learn more about nineteenth century cotton factories and what life was like for those that lived and worked there. Pupils took a ride on the Annie McLeod Experience, explored a nineteenth century classroom, took a trip into the homes and shops of past New Lanark residents, and saw a cotton mill in action! The pupils were excellent and really engaged. Great day out for all!
