Parents and community members are cordially invited to PHS’ biodiversity garden from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 26 April for a spring clean of our biodiversity garden. The garden, accessible from the right/East side of the school, beside the CDT department, is a fenced area containing flowerbeds, a bird feeder, grassland and stone and long piles. Pupils in the Eco Team maintain the garden as pat of their responsibilities.
This event, running now for the third year, will see volunteers maintaining the paths and fence, weeding and planting and importantly, being rewarded with hot drinks and bacon/vegetarian rolls! Please come along if you’d like to help – no experience necessary, but bringing gardening tools is appreciated.
For any further information or to let us know to coming along, please contact Sophie Bigg at email@example.com.
