S4 pupils visit Scottish Parliament

S4 Modern Studies pupils visited the Scottish Parliament on 27th September. They were allowed to sit in and watch First Minister’s question time (a highly coveted spot for schools in Scotland) which was very loud at times!

Initially, pupils were disappointed because Alex Salmond was away on other business but all enjoyed Nicola Sturgeon answering questions on his behalf. The pupils learned how the parliament works and how they can take an active role in it too. A great day had by all!
