Dinner for two at Butternut Squash

(Tripadvisor certificate of Excellence award winner 2014)

Funds raised will be used to fund some of the following on our wish-list:

3 D Printer – £1400

Logic circuit board kit – £1028;

Joulemeters – £179 each;

Colorimeter – £150

Heart Rate monitors – £64.50 each.

New Yamaha keyboards cost £187 each and would be used by many students each week.

£200 towards new revision guides/past papers for Higher and Advanced Higher level. The revision guides we currently have are outdated.

£100 for Manga books. Manga and Anime club runs after school every Monday and is very popular but we don’t have many Manga books.

£100 for new graphic novels.    The Parent Council generously provided us with money to set up a graphic novel section last year.  Reluctant / struggling readers love the books but are continually asking for more.

Media Studies:

5 iPad mounts and stands to  allow pupils to put their iPads onto tripods to film – leading to a more professional, higher quality piece of video, and allowing them to set iPads up to film things in a more planned way.  I’m sure they would be of use in a number of contexts, including the Media enrichment group and Media courses, and possibly digital media editing courses too.

Reading Club:

Comic books cost £10 – £15 per copy so are more expensive than ordinary novels.  Funding would be greatly appreciated.  I will work with Lauren so that we do not duplicate copies, but at the same time have a selection available for my readers.

After-School Club:

Wii Fit –for dancing / singing / games-£140

Running Club:

We would love to buy kit for our runners
