MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention)

Portobello High School pupils involved in MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention) supported the launch of the Health Respect website. Healthy Respect works to improve young people’s sexual and well-being in Lothian. It supports them to enjoy healthy and respectful relationships. To quote one of our S5 pupils, Helen McBrierty (MVP Mentor) who was at the launch “MVP and Healthy Respect both promote respect no matter the race, the gender or the relationship. They also promote self-respect which is important in any relationship”.
