Suspended Timetable Returns
Don’t forget all suspended timetable forms must be handed in to the school office by the end of the day Friday (4th May). If you have lost your forms the booklet and form can be downloaded HERE.
Children & Families Achievement Awards
The school was delighted to have its work on Shared Responsibility recognised recently at the annual Achievement Awards Ceremony. Our pupils were the recipients of one of six major awards – the award for Citizenship. The work focuses on peer education relating to Shared Responsibility and aims to create local, national and global awareness of the environmental devastation and human cost of coca cultivation, drug trafficking and consumption. The project aims to forge global alliances to help in the fight against illegal drugs through co-operation between the nations in the supply chain. Embedded in the values of Curriculum for Excellence the project allows young people to mentor and teach their peers. It empowers young people by allowing them to take responsibility for their future and the future of their communities, both local and global.
