CHARITY ECO DAY

Fairtrade

Pupils and staff celebrated another charity Eco Day on 30th October, this year focusing on the theme of Food and the Environment.

Pupils raised £632.31 from donations alone, which will go to the Fairtrade Foundation to help farmers in less developed countries build better lives for their communities.  Lessons on an environmental theme were delivered over the course of the week, and S1 – S3 pupils attended a talk by former Green Leader Robin Harper on Eco Day.

We continue to raise money for the Fairtrade Foundation from monthly Fair Trade stalls, run by a dedicated group of pupils. Thanks to everyone who donated and supported the stall – your support means a lot to those who benefit fom it!
